Ever heard of a 7-year-old founder or CEO, or a baby boss of 4? (And no, I am not talking about the movie!).

Well, age is just a number. And nothing could be more affirmative of the fact that the world of entrepreneurs – the fastest-growing business venture. The perks, aside from becoming one’s own boss, include control, fulfillment, and financial stability.

All the more reasons for young minds to test their abilities and bring innovative ideas that can help change the world. Explains why more and more newcomers are aged much younger than their predecessors were in their heyday.

The first among our list of young entrepreneurs across the world is-

1. Alina Morse (Zolli Candy)

At the fragile age of just 7, Alina Morse was repelled by something rather witty- the sweetness of a candy! The story goes that one day when out on a bank affair with her Dad, Alina was offered a lollipop by the bank teller, which she refused to avoid any damage to her teeth, but not before an intriguing idea sparked in her mind.

Why can’t candies be harmless to the teeth and delicious to the taste?

Lo and behold, it wasn’t long before Zollipops were born, and Zolli Candy – The Clean Teeth Candy became a part of confectioneries nationwide.

Today, Zolli Candy has become a fully-fledged brand of the vegan, sugar-free, and tooth-friendly line of edibles including candies, zollipops, toffees, and the like.

Morse has been featured in a number of publications.

Her special initiative- the Million Smiles is doing a stupendous job of bringing smiles to school children by donating free Zollipops while advocating the importance of dental hygiene.

2. Hart Main (ManCans)

Another juvenile who has made his name among the class of young entrepreneurs is Hart Main, who at the age of only 13, founded ManCans-  scented candles for men.

Sounds interesting?

Well, the story behind it all is even funnier. It was just to tease her sister who was selling girly scented candles for her school fundraiser. But what started out as a prank quickly turned into a serious venture.

Thanks to his parents’ nominal contribution, he was able to start up ManCans, which has now grown into a countrywide brand of scented candles with flavors including Campfire, Bacon, Sawdust, Fresh Cut Grass, and Grandpa’s Pipe.

Earning six figures annually, this young entrepreneur donates part of each sale to soup kitchens across various states.

3. Lily Born (Imagiroo LLC)

One of the most successful young entrepreneurs across the world is Lily Born. At the age of just 8, she devised a very simple solution to a not-so-simple problem.

Observing how her grandfather struggling with Parkinson’s disease was often spilling his drinks; she came up with the idea of a 3-legged cup that won’t tip.

With the full support of her father and little crowdfunding, Lily founded her company “Imagiroo LLC” which sells tilt-proof cups/ mugs in ceramic and plastic across the globe.

4. Kiki Hardee (Kiki’s Kindness Project)

Next up, we have our baby boss “Kiki”, who at the age of just 5 learned the ways of the world in an emotionally hard way.

The eye-opening moment occurred when she realized that her school was under a $600 lunch debt due to which it was not able to feed the children whose parents couldn’t pay for it. As heartbreaking as it was for little Kiki; it did not break her spirit to free her school from the debt.

To fix it once and for all, Kiki started selling cookies and cocoa, and little fundraising here and there, which came to be known as Kiki’s Kindness Project.

Gradually, she was able to raise more than $7,000 which she used for paying off the entire school lunch debt, and then some $22,000 to help other underprivileged kids.

(Bravo!)

5. Ryan Trahan (YouTube)

If the fear of dropping out of college keeps you at bay, then this guy might just be the very inspiration you need.

Hailing from Texas A&M University, Trahan was a student-athlete who posted several videos about running on YouTube while endorsing his own water bottle brand.

His growing number of followers and income landed him in a riff with the National Collegiate Athletic Association, with the latter giving him an ultimatum- Texas A&M or YouTube.

Ryan was quick to decide and left the university. The risk paid off well as his YouTube channel started bagging more audience and crossing the 10 million subscribers mark.

6. Benjamin Stern (Nohbo)

Stern said “no to plastic” when he was in the 9th grade.

Quite early to be environmentally conscious? Well, not if you ask him.

Apparently, he started looking out for a viable solution in his biology class not long before he developed the groundbreaking sustainability start-up- Nohbo!

The brand is about developing eco-friendly personal care items such as shampoo, soap, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, and so on, and selling them in a non-plastic, single-use, water-soluble packaging that is free of harmful agents and leaves no plastic waste of any kind.

The idea was quickly accepted in Shark Tank and endorsed by Mark Cuban, due to which it is now an award-winning start-up with partnerships with several major brands.

7. Moziah Bridges (Mo’s Bows)

A short documentary (Mo’s Bows) titled the same name as his company’s has also been featured in 2015.

Quite an achievement for this young entrepreneur already. But that’s not all!

A decade ago he started the Go Mo Summer Campaign Fund, a charity dedicated to sending underprivileged Memphis kids to summer camp.
